Managing Attorney - Immigration

The Senior Attorney is responsible for leading the Immigration Team, providing and supervising legal advice, and ensuring compliance with immigration laws. This role includes administrative tasks, training, volunteer management, and grant management. The firm is dedicated to providing legal services and empowering clients to access justice.

Requirements

• Must be a member in good standing with the bar
• Must have five (5) years’ experience as a practicing attorney, three (3) years of which must be in civil poverty law or public interest law.
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish
• Substantive and procedural expertise in immigration law
• Experience managing others, ensuring compliance, and serving low-income communities.
• Experience working with and representing clients communities.
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation.
