Job Description
Bronx Legal Services (LSNYC) is dedicated to fighting poverty and racial injustice in New York City. They operate a large-scale civil legal services provider offering legal services to low-income New Yorkers. The role involves supervising a housing an attorney within the Tenant Rights Coalition Unit, supporting litigation, and organizing community outreach initiatives. This position focuses on directly assisting clients in housing matters and complex cases.
Requirements
- Supervise attorneys in residential and multi-plaintiff cases, administrative proceedings, and advocacy.
- Review draft pleadings, motions, and court submissions.
- Maintain a case load, and work with tenant organizers and community partners.
- Master Spanish (preferred).
