Senior Associate | Commercial Contracts & Privacy | 3+ PQE

We are looking for a 3+ PQE English qualified lawyer to join our Commercial and Privacy team in Manchester. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the UK’s data protection legislation (including the UK GDPR), as well as consumer laws. They will assist our growing number of SME and Corporate clients with a varied range of commercial, privacy and general corporate work.

Requirements

• Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
• Drafting and reviewing privacy policies and internal privacy manuals
• Advising on the GDPR, including responding to data subject access requests, data breaches, controller/processor arrangements, and AI implications
• Advising on UK consumer laws
• English qualified lawyer with demonstrated local experience in assisting commercial clients in a variety of commercial and privacy
• Prioritises effectively; focuses on what matters; works productively
• Demonstrates business acumen; cares about business growth (including helping to grow LegalVision further)
• Gets a kick out of working with smart, fun and passionate people and learning from them
