Transfer Center Coordinator

Role Overview

Coordinates patient flow activities, prioritizes patient placement, and serves as the primary contact for referring physicians. Facilitates patient transfers into and within the healthcare network.

What You Will Do

Monitors bed availability, collaborates with departments, documents patient information, and answers calls in the transfer center. Provides emergent and non-emergent transfers, consults, and coordinates conference calls.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing
• 3 years acute healthcare experience
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or NLC Compact State RN License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
