Job Description
We are looking for a talented individual to join our workforce as a Children's Social Worker in the fieldwork service. The ideal candidate will have a professional social work qualification, direct experience working with children, and excellent communication skills. The role involves providing intervention and support to children and their families, with a focus on enabling families to navigate through challenges and supporting children to grow up in a nurturing environment where their needs are met.
Requirements
- Professional Social Work Qualification
- Registered with Social Work England
- Direct experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Possession of full driving licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel both inside and outside the council area as required.
- Excellent communication skills to support internal and multi-agency working relationships
- An enhanced DBS check is required.
