Job Description
Join Leidos as a Bilingual Linguist (Arabic/French) and contribute to meaningful work that supports national security. Leidos will sponsor and upgrade security clearances for eligible candidates, and travel overseas is required. As a linguist, you'll provide professional-level support across translation, interpretation, transcription, and Gisting, requiring cultural awareness, insight, and nuanced understanding of dialectical variations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Translation and/or interpretation degree is highly desired
- HLT experience a plus
- Must successfully complete a Leidos-administered language proficiency test or equivalent at the Primary level or higher
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic online research
- Ability to travel OCONUS and support the contract 24/7 when on travel
