Geospatial Software Engineer

As a Geospatial Software Engineer at Leidos Australia, you will work with world-leading technology to deliver innovative solutions to complex spatial challenges. You will lead and contribute to the design, development, integration, and testing of geospatial software solutions, using ESRI technologies and custom geospatial application development. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Geospatial Science, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience in geospatial software engineering within engineering or project environments
• Strong expertise in ESRI technologies (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro) and custom geospatial application development (JavaScript)
• Experience with geospatial data engineering, ETL processes, and spatial data integration
• Familiarity with open-source GIS tools, system integrations (e.g., REST APIs), and modern development practices including CI/CD
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies, containerisation (e.g., Docker), and development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence
