Linux Distribution Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Linux Distribution Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex sensor and radar orientated problems. The successful candidate will support advanced technology radar programs by maintaining a current RedHat Enterprise SE Linux distribution and building drives for products using this distribution with classified software loaded.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or similar degree from an ABET-accredited school
• 4-8 years of experience in IT support of Linux systems or Linux distribution support
• Good communication skills for working in a highly collaborative lab environment
• Excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following: Linux ISO creation, Linux account management, Linux patch management, Bash, SE Linux
