Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Malaysian Toponymist/ Geospatial Linguist to support a customer site in St Louis, MO. The selected candidate will analyze and conflate information associated with feature data listed in the Geographic Names Database (GNDB) and work closely with Intelligence Community (IC) geographic names experts.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a POLY level clearance
- High school degree or equivalent and 10 years of experience
- ILR Skill Level certification for reading in the language
- Intermediate experience with GIS software, including ArcGIS Pro and QGIS
- Advanced understanding of and application of Geographic Names collection methodologies
- Expertise in research and information gathering
- Knowledge of regularly used GEO INT Sources
- Proficiency in advanced Python Scripting (desired)
