Manufacturing Test Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer Lead to join our Defense Manufacturing Integration & Test team in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will lead in the planning/execution of electrical floor operations and develop automated test scripts, procedures, and documentation needed to conduct missile instrument testing.

Requirements

• Managing Manufacturing Orders to meet project schedules
• Define and Implement test procedures & techniques to all sites to support manufacturing
• Use of MES software (Solumina) to implement, track, monitor, and control manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance
• Identify and execute continuous improvement projects
• Development and ownership for production test strategy to ensure appropriate and complete testing of all assembly levels – PCBA / sub-assemblies / final assembly
• Collaborate with other teams, especially avionics and software, to gather requirements, design test plans, determine applicable test cases, develop procedures and prepare for running the tests
• Design and Develop test equipment needs for volume manufacturing - Implementation, Qualification, Certification, Usage, Calibrations and Maintenance
• Develop test software/scripts to ensure test coverage is maximized and optimized
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to ensure test systems are secure
• Manage ISO9001/AS9100 processes within our department
