Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to join their team in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in production planning/scheduling within a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of MRP/MPS principles, capacity planning, and resource leveling. The role requires proficiency in Deltek Costpoint, Dynafact DMS, or equivalent ERP/APS systems.
Requirements
- Provide leadership and development for a team of production schedulers
- Create and maintain detailed weekly and monthly master production schedules
- Ensure synchronization between MRP-planned orders and execution-level schedules
- Analyze sales forecasts and customer demand to ensure adequate capacity production levels
- Collaborate with Program Management, Supply Chain, and Production to align schedules with customer priorities and delivery milestones
- Conduct rough-cut capacity analysis and identify bottlenecks
- Track production progress in real-time and adjust schedules to address delays or equipment issues
- Monitor performance to plan and generate regular reports on order status, production progress, and inventory levels
