Leidos is seeking a highly experienced Radar / Electronic Warfare Software Lead to oversee the technical execution of a large, multi-phase U.S. Air Force radar program. The selected candidate will collaborate with executive leadership, program managers, and technical staff to provide effective and efficient execution of new and existing programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred) with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience working within a team to develop and integrate radar and/or electronic warfare sensor technology.
- Strong technical background in enabling technologies for RF and EW sensors, including real-time software, high-speed networking and/or storage technologies, and radar signal processing algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of C++ and object-oriented design principles.
- Solid software engineering background with experience defining and enforcing engineering best practices (configuration management, coding standards, code reviews, testability, and design for reusability).
- Ability to identify business development opportunities and support proposal activities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Secret clearance.
- Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville–North Alabama region.
