ServiceNow Software Engineer

Role Overview

The Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a mid-level ServiceNow Software Engineer to work remotely. This role involves applying software engineering skills to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software programs for new and enhanced ServiceNow systems. The successful candidate will support DoD customers by applying appropriate principles, standards, processes, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.

What You Will Do

Perform full-lifecycle software engineering functions on the ServiceNow platform, including design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software enhancements. Work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with a significant impact on operational results and project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–8 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification or obtain one within the first 30 days of employment
• Hands-on experience developing within the ServiceNow platform
• Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM applications
• Deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts within the software engineering domain
• Strong understanding of the Glide API and experience writing efficient, server-side and client-side scripts
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment
• Experience building and maintaining complex integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST and SOAP web services

Benefits

• Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
