Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs. The Software Engineer will work with a large team to modernize and implement industry standards, ensuring secure and reliable IT systems.
Requirements
- Comfort and familiarity in maintaining legacy applications
- Experience in modernization of legacy applications
- Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Experience leveraging Amazon Web Services
- Experience creating RESTful API
- Experience with spring boot
- Develop Java and Angular (Typescript) that leverage Elasticsearch
- Comfort and familiarity designing and utilizing custom ETL methodology
- Strong communication, design, and documentation skills
- Strong time and workflow management skills
- Comfort and familiarity in unit testing, peer code review, and automated testing techniques like Selenium
- Work within the parameters of Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Willingness to mentor and teach junior developers’ community best practices
- Ability to methodically think through new and exciting challenges in a collaborative team environment
