Software Engineer

Leidos is seeking a talented Software Engineer to work in our Huntsville office, assisting in the development of software for tactical strike, sensors, CUAS, and UAS solutions. The role involves designing and developing robust software frameworks, as well as fielding, supporting, and maintaining software products. The successful candidate will work as part of an agile software development team, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot application issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree
• 4-8 years of relevant technical experience or 2+ years with MS degree
• Proven track record of implementing software development principles
• Strong competency in software development in C++ and/or C#
• Experience writing unit and integration tests with unit test frameworks
• Aptitude for technical skills required for software development, configuration management, and software quality engineering concepts
