Leidos Defense is seeking a RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The selected candidate is expected to have a significant impact on the development of reliability artifacts throughout the system’s life cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical/engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university
- 7+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 5+ years of prior relevant experience
- Experience conducting RAM related analyses such as MTTR, MTBF, FMEA, RBD, FRACAS, power dissipation, and derating
- Ability to perform in a highly collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in deriving (RAM) requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems
- Experience supporting NASA, DoD, or DARPA programs
- US Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance
- Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
