Banking Operations Specialist (f/m/x)

We are looking for a Banking Operations Specialist to join our team at lemon.markets. As a Banking Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for running payment cycles, reconciling bank activity, and ensuring accurate double-entry postings. You will work closely with Product/Engineering to improve tooling and automation, and have the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Banking Ops, Payments Ops, Finance/Accounting Ops, Treasury Ops, or similar, ideally within a regulated environment
• Payments execution experience, including exception handling (rejects/returns/failed payments)
• Reconciliation and investigation skills, including structured break analysis and root-cause resolution
• Strong accounting and ledger foundation, including double-entry applied to bank flows and clearing accounts
• High accuracy and audit-ready documentation
• End-to-end flow understanding, including ability to explain and reason through payment flows
• Ownership and collaboration mindset, including reliability in daily critical processes and ability to translate operational needs to Product/Engineering
