Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Backend Engineer to join our growing TLV R&D center and become a core member of our Payments Charges team. This team is a central pillar of Lendbuzz. We are responsible for the financial engine of the company: processing loan repayments and managing massive fund transfers to car dealerships.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
- Strong programming skills, with expertise in Python.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Preference for top-tier universities).
- Deep understanding and proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
- Experience designing and integrating with APIs (RESTful services).
- A 'quality-first' mindset: Strong understanding of testing methodologies and writing code for highly sensitive/critical systems.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable: Experience or a strong desire to incorporate AI dev tools into your daily workflow, combined with the critical thinking needed to review and validate AI-generated code.
- Independent, proactive, with great interpersonal skills.
