Senior Credit Manager

Senior Credit Manager role at Lendo to support lending portfolio growth through hands-on credit assessment, risk management, and day-to-day leadership of the credit function.

Requirements

• Evaluate creditworthiness of potential customers by analysing financial statements, cash flow, credit history, and key risk indicators
• Review borrower applications end-to-end, providing clear recommendations on approvals, declines, and deal structuring aligned with Lendo’s risk appetite
• Lead and support the credit team on day-to-day operations, including task delegation, prioritisation, and ensuring timely turnaround of credit decisions
• Ensure all lending activities comply with SAMA regulations and internal credit policies, maintaining strong governance standards
• Monitor portfolio performance, including repayments, arrears, and bad debts, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation actions
• Own and continuously improve credit policies and underwriting processes in line with business needs and market conditions
• Create and maintain product specifications and credit procedure documentation to support consistency and scalability
• Work closely with Product, Data, and Tech teams to enhance underwriting processes, automation, and decision-making capabilities
