Lennox AES is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to perform welding tasks with precision and expertise. The role involves working with various materials, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the quality and integrity of products. Responsibilities include fabricating custom and standard products, communicating with shop manager and engineering, and conducting visual inspections of welded components.
Requirements
- Familiar with safe welding practices
- Capable of learning to read fabrication drawings with some instruction
- Capable of welding 10-to-20-gauge galvanized steel
- Must be physically capable of loading fabrication parts onto the weld table
- Capable of blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Individual must be a self-starter and need minimal guidance on daily task
- Must be quality oriented with strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams
- Individual must have a working knowledge of MIG welding machines with respect to preventive maintenance and control settings to obtain maximum efficiencies
- Able to move objects weighing up to 75 pounds
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred: Trade school or certification in welding
- Required: 1-year previous MIG welding experience
- Able to work with a positive attitude and in a team setting
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
