Buyer responsible for generating purchase orders, communicating supplier performance, and maintaining professional relationships with suppliers. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience and 2+ years of experience in Purchasing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Purchasing
- Experience in government or public-sector procurement
- Ability to understand military specs and read blue prints
- Ability to understand and adhere to all laws and policies pertaining to procurement, contracts, breach by contract, competitive bidding process, etc.
- Knowledge of price and cost analysis
- Good negotiating skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
