Job Description
The Mechanical Engineering Intern role with Leonardo DRS is a hands-on work experience in Huntsville, AL, a fast-growing tech city known for aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing. The role is designed for Junior or Senior-level student who wants real project experience using 3D CAD, collaborating with manufacturing and labs, and helping take products from design through build and test.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a BS or MS Mechanical Engineering program
- GPA 2.85+ and at least two years of engineering coursework completed
- Able to work effectively independently and in a team
- Strong, pro-active problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
- Ability to support a 9/80, 40+ hour per week, 5/18-8/7/26 schedule
