Program Manager II

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full-time Program Manager II to support the Future Air Defense Portfolio, leading the daily execution of contract requirements and managing a team of program managers. This position requires 5+ years of experience in program management, a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or Business, and U.S. citizenship. The position is based in Bridgeton, MO, with the option to work in-person or hybrid.

Requirements

• Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements
• Lead all meetings and the integrated product team from kick-off through project close
• Provide interface, communication, and coordination with internal and external customers
• Participate as a team member or leader on bid and proposal activities
• Actively seek new business opportunities
• Represent management at program reviews, meetings, seminars, etc.
• Prepare for and participate in contract/subcontract negotiations
• Develop and implement plans and schedules to execute contracts/subcontracts
• Allocate and control contract budgets
• Regularly report program status to senior management
• Formally identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risk throughout the program life cycle
• Ensure timely closeout of completed programs
• Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
• Manage aerospace/defense programs as a prime or subcontractor to a domestic or foreign military organization
• Manage program lifecycles from development through sustainment
