Digital HW Design Engineer

Leonardo is an international industrial group seeking a Digital HW Design Engineer for its Genoa-Puccini location. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing digital electronic boards with microcontrollers, FPGA, DSP and SoC, and managing related activities in the Integrated Project Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
• Junior: 1-3 years of experience; Expert: 3-5 years of experience; Senior: 5-10 years of experience.
• Competence in designing digital electronic boards with microcontrollers, FPGA, DSP and SoC
• Knowledge of main electronic digital components (memories, A/D and D/A converters, communication interfaces, clocking)
• Knowledge of main communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, PCIe, LVDS
• Design of electrical schematics with ECAD software
• Definition of electrical and thermal constraints for the design of high-performance PCBs
• Knowledge of standard HW development cycles
• Knowledge of main tools for programmable component development
