Job Description
Lead Project Manager opportunity for large AESA Radar Development contract in Edinburgh, UK. Reporting to Programme Manager, responsible for successful delivery of project, leading IPT, and ensuring compliance with customer, contractual, and legislative requirements. Work involves iterative performance improvements through software and firmware development upgrades using agile methodology and longer-term hardware and software upgrades. Must have good attitude and willingness to learn. Role is subject to pre-employment screening.
Requirements
- Lead IPT in successful delivery of project
- Ensure effective communications to achieve cost, quality, and schedule
- Proactively monitor project progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action
- Identify and manage risks to the production project
- Engage in business winning activities, such as bidding and proposal preparation
- Conduct project reviews and make recommendations to appropriate business areas
- Daily interactions with key members of IPT
