Senior or Principal PCB Layout Engineer

We are recruiting for a Senior or Principal PCB Layout Engineer to collaborate on the Global Combat Air Program (GCAP). This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the most cutting-edge PCB designs, across a wide variety of technologies, and contribute to the new era of aircraft defensive systems.

Requirements

• Experience of creating complex multi-layer PCBs with multiple design interfaces
• Ability to read schematics and design PCB's in accordance with the design intent
• Familiarity with high pin count parts, high-speed signal routing, differential pairs, and standard interfaces
• Validating design data to ensure compliance with supplier capability
• Creating manufacturing output data packs, to company standards
• Participating in project meetings and providing advice to electronic engineers relating to design rules for PCB tools, materials and substrate technology
• Liaising with external suppliers, PCB Assembly houses and PCB Fabricators
