Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer within the Defence Software Engineering unit of the Electronics Division in La Spezia. The person will be mainly involved in designing, developing and testing software applications in real-time for embedded environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer engineering, computer science or similar
- 1-3 years of experience
- Good knowledge of the Software Life Cycle
- Good knowledge of real-time systems and embedded environments
- Good knowledge of C and C++ programming languages
- Good knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite
- Good knowledge of Linux or Unix-like system family
- Good knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Ability to work in a team
- Problem-solving attitude
- Flexibility in dealing with topics outside one's area of competence
