Software Engineer

Leonardo is an international industrial group seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the development of command and control systems in the defense field. The person will be responsible for analysis and definition of software requirements, development, management of customer requests, and ensuring compliance with key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
• Junior: 1-3 years of experience
• Expert: 3-5 years of experience
• Ability as a functional analyst programmer
• Ability to analyze requirements
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and procedural programming
• Knowledge of at least one programming language between Python, C++ and Java in-depth
• Knowledge of the main versioning tools (SVN, Git, CVS)
• Knowledge of the main development IDEs (Eclipse, JetBrains, Visual Studio)
• Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills to meet deadlines
• Language skills: Italian (native speaker), English (Listening: B1, Reading: B2, Interaction: A2, Spoken Production: A2, Written Production: B2)
