Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Rome, Italy. The person will be responsible for software development, analysis, and testing, as well as ensuring the respect of key performance indicators. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer Engineering/Electronics or Computer Science and 3-5 years of experience. Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering/Electronics or Computer Science
- 3-5 years of experience
- Analytical skills
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and procedural programming
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, C++, or Java
- Preferred knowledge of the DOORS tool
- Preferred knowledge and application of the software development lifecycle (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, and Extreme Programming)
- Preferred knowledge of operating systems, such as Linux.
- Preferred knowledge of design patterns and UML2
- Preferred knowledge of primary DBMS (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle SQL, SQLite)
- Knowledge of primary versioning tools (SVN, Git, CVS)
- Knowledge of primary development IDEs (Eclipse, JetBrains, Visual Studio)
- Preferred knowledge of graphical development frameworks, such as JavaFx, and application and console front-end development in QT.
- Preferred knowledge of the Angular development framework.
- Preferred knowledge of interface design and usability.
- Preferred knowledge of the ED-109A software development process.
- Good knowledge of the English language (B2)
