Research Associate Microorganisms Characterisation - 7 months contract (W/M)

As a Research Associate in Microorganisms Characterisation, you will be responsible for developing and applying flow cytometry methods, designing assays, and working with engineers and data scientists to ensure technical quality. The role is a 7-month contract with Lesaffre, a global key player in yeasts and fermentation.

Requirements

• Engineer with 2 years of experience in biology, cell biology, biochemistry, fermentation, or equivalent.
• Skills in flow cytometry
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in an international team.
• Ability to work in matrix organization.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Broad competences with diverse microorganisms (yeast, bacteria, fungi)
• 2-year industry research experience in biotechnology, phenotyping, assay development
• Experience with programming software (R, Python for example).
• Experience with Attune NxT flow cytometry
