Lesaffre is seeking a senior scientist to lead the nutrition translational research activities at its R&D organization in France. The role involves driving the design and execution of evidence-development plans, translating scientific insights into viable product concepts, and communicating complex scientific information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent in Clinical Nutrition, Nutritional Sciences, or a related field, registered dietitian or nutritionist is a plus
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in conducting nutrition translational research ideally clinical trials evaluating the impact of nutritional interventions on human metabolic health
- Demonstrated expertise in human physiology, metabolism, and the mechanisms underlying the health benefits of nutrients and bioactive compounds
- Proven ability to translate scientific findings into market-ready solutions
- Familiarity with food and health regulations or nutritional epidemiology and national examination survey is a plus
- Proven track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both scientific and business stakeholders
