Job Description
Sushi-san River North is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to join their team. This is a full-time position with a focus on quality sushi and Mexican cuisine, offering benefits like competitive pay and career development. The role involves leading food operations, managing staff, and ensuring efficient service.
Requirements
- Lead the opening shift process, including food orders, inventory, and price updates.
- Lead, direct, and ensure effective BOH operations.
- Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams.
- Track and control food cost and purchase/order supplies.
- Partner with GM to maintain recipe books and review team performance.
- Monitor line checks and maintain food quality.
- Coordinate with the GM and team to interview, hire, and train employees.
- Provide effective communication of issues and requests.
- Manage all staff and ensure training and development.
