Performs computerized tomography scans. Performs specialized procedures including biopsies, aspirations and drainages. Prepares patients for CT procedures, obtains patient signatures for consent forms, and provides pertinent information to radiologists for plan of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with a Post Primary certification in Computed Tomography
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association license
