Job Description
The Communications Director will oversee the design and management of all communications and public awareness activities for a five-year agricultural value-chain development project in Abuja, Nigeria. The role involves supervising the project communications team, updating the communications strategy, and maintaining primary contact with the media and communications production houses.
Requirements
- 5+ year’s professional experience in communications
- Educational background: BA or B S degree, MA preferred
- Experience in developing and managing educational communication and public information programs
- Understanding of USAID rules and regulations related to communication programs
- Knowledge of cultural and communication norms and expectations for Nigeria
