Head of Marketing (based in US)

As the Head of Marketing at LeydenJar, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our deep-tech R&D and commercial scale-up, leading our global brand and marketing efforts.

Requirements

• 15+ years of B2B leadership in deep-tech, battery energy storage, or advanced materials.
• Proven ability to build trust with technical teams and extract the'story' from the data without disrupting the lab's work.
• Track record of taking companies through the 'R&D-to-Commercial' transition, ideally involving successful exits or mass production milestones.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated experience spanning brand, PR/communications, product marketing, media relations, and investor relations simultaneously.
• Prior experience working with or for European deep-tech companies, or comfort operating across North American and European business cultures.
• Understanding of the battery cell manufacturing supply chain and the typical commercial process between anode material suppliers and cell makers.
• Familiarity with marketing tools for B2B with a focus in the battery industry or adjacent.
• Comfortable in a highly international working environment.
