Job Description
LGC Biosearch Technologies is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer (II) to play a critical role in the significant expansion of the Ballina manufacturing site, supporting the site’s multi-year growth ambitions through deployment of key lean manufacturing operating principles across the entire workflow. The role will also collaborate with leadership and front-line staff to develop and provide training on Lean systems, including Daily Management System (DMS), Leader Standard Work (LSW) A3/Root Cause Problem Solving, and other relevant systems as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering field
- 10 years or more of Process Improvement / Operational Excellence / Lean experience
- Extensive experience with improvement methodologies (Lean/TPS, Shingo, SS, ToC, TPM)
- Strong coaching and training skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills to drive successful relationship building
