LGC is a leading global life science tools company that is hiring a Vice President, Science and Technology to drive the organization's technological vision and ensure it remains competitive in an ever-evolving innovation landscape.
Requirements
- PhD degree in a biomedical sciences discipline.
- Proven track record at the executive level leading scientific teams.
- Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies in life sciences tool space or in vitro diagnostics space.
- 15+ years of experience in genomics, with proven experience in oligo chemistry/synthesis and genomics technologies (PCR, NGS, automation).
- Knowledge in healthcare and diagnostics preferred.
- Experience with NPD product/process development and manufacture in a cGMP environment for RUO and IVD labelled products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Successfully published in the peer reviewed literature.
- Experience with IP management.
