Job Description
Our firm, lgt, is looking for an Intermediate Engineer in Building Structure with 5 to 9 years of experience to work in our Quebec office. The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering and a valid driving license and ASP construction card. The engineer will participate in project conception and realization, prepare technical reports and studies, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in civil engineering
- over 5 years of experience in building structure
- membership in the Order of Engineers of Quebec
- valid driving license and ASP construction card
- proficiency in software such as Advance Desing America, Etabs, Safe, and Microsoft Office
- expertise in design standards and the Quebec Building Code
- proficiency in French (written and spoken)
- ability to interpret structural analysis results and propose optimization solutions
- experience in communication and teamwork
