Senior Software Engineer

LGT Wealth Management is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Software Engineering team within the Platform function. The role plays a critical part in shaping the technology landscape that supports client experience, operational excellence, and long-term strategic growth.

Requirements

• Design and build best-practice solutions and processes based on complex business requirements
• Customise the Avaloq Core Platform functionalities to meet the unique needs of the business and clients
• Share responsibility for the Avaloq codebase and refine and enforce development best practices
• Support solution designs and review of new features to ensure alignment with system requirements and business needs
• Champion unit testing and build automated testing capabilities for everything developed
• Provide operational guidance to application support specialists
• Identify risks associated with changes made to the platform and communicate their implications to non-technical stakeholders
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies to support continuous improvement
• Develop deep technical knowledge across multiple functional business areas within the Avaloq Core Platform
• Support and lead efforts to influence consistent solution design, development, change management, and agile principles across the platform team
• Enforce and support technical audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
• Support the Quality Assurance team with the capability to define, implement, and maintain an automated testing suite for the Avaloq Core Platform
