VP of Engineering

VP of Engineering role to lead engineering organisation, oversee teams, and build leadership structure for company growth, with focus on execution, leadership, and organisational effectiveness, as well as scaling engineering productivity through AI and automation.

Requirements

• Leadership experience
• Experience leading and scaling engineering organisations
• Proven ability to manage engineering managers and senior technical leaders
• Ability to operate independently and proactively solve problems
• Comfortable making difficult decisions and setting clear direction
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices
• Ability to evaluate technical architecture and engineering estimates
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, DevOps, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with backend environments (Node.js knowledge is helpful)
• Ability to engage credibly with senior engineers and technical leaders
• Interest in crypto infrastructure and the Web3 ecosystem
• Experience in Web3 is helpful but not required
• Experience in fintech, trading systems, or financial infrastructure is highly relevant
• Ability to quickly build context in complex technical environments
