Security Information Officer

Libertex Europe is seeking an experienced Security Information Officer to strengthen its information security governance, risk, and compliance framework. The ideal candidate will combine strong governance expertise with hands-on technical understanding to effectively support operational teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or a related field.
• Proven experience in an information security, risk, or governance role within regulated environments.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001/27002, NIST, or similar).
• Solid understanding of DORA requirements and operational resilience concepts.
• Experience developing security policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
• Good technical understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, identity and access management, and security controls.
• Experience with incident response planning, risk assessments, and control design.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and documentation skills.
• Experience with technical security experience (cloud security, IAM, logging, or monitoring platforms) will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working with SIEM, vulnerability management, or security monitoring tools.
• Exposure to DevOps or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or similar), will be a plus.
• Experience in the Forex, fintech, or other highly regulated financial services environments, is a major advantage.
