Investment Associate

Liberty Global is seeking an Investment Associate to join their team in London. The role will involve leading the engagement with internal and external stakeholders to assess, analyse, structure, and invest in renewable energy projects to support the customers of Egg Power. The successful candidate will have a strong background in investment modelling, commercial negotiation, and project management, with experience in the energy sector and a degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Physics, Economics, or similar.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Economics, or similar
• Experience in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy
• Investment modelling experience in commercial debt/equity funded transactions
• Commercial negotiation experience for investments and Power Purchase Agreements
• Project management experience
• Fluent in English and fluency in another European language a plus
• Analytical skills and long-term vision
• Ability to apply sound business practices and work with senior management
• Result-driven, output-focused team player
• Proactive and self-reliant/independent self-starter
• Knowledge of GAAP, Accounting principles, and SOX guidelines
