Underwriting Trainee, Property & Casualty (12-month contract)

Join our underwriting team and challenge yourself to uncover business risks and develop strong relationships with customers. As an Underwriting Trainee, you'll complete a 6-month training program and have the opportunity to start a career with one of the leading property and casualty insurers in the country.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of work experience (not necessarily in insurance)
• Bachelor's degree preferably in business, mathematics, economics or finance
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to provide information in a clear, concise manner with an appropriate level of detail and professionalism
• Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
• Ability to gather information, analyze facts, and draw conclusions
• Strong negotiation skills
• Initiative driven and self-starter
• Strong customer service orientation
• Demonstrated organization skills and abilities
