The Mechanical Assembler Technician is responsible for installing components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies on the production line, performing mechanical tasks, and engaging in diagnosing and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and manufacturing background, experience following standards and reading prints, and thrive in a fast-paced repetitive environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of demonstrated mechanical assembly and / or maintenance aptitude
- Accredited certificate in heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial maintenance
- Ability to manage time in a manufacturing environment
- Follow all safety processes and procedures
- Ability to properly utilize required PPE
- Ability to safely utilize hand tools
- Demonstrate quality work through accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
- Exhibits efficiency in problem solving by identifying & resolving problems in a timely manner
- Exhibits adaptability by positive response to frequent change, delays, or unexpected occurrences
- Contributes to building and participating in a positive team environment
