Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing manufacturing test equipment hardware and test software for electronic PCBs and electronic systems.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar.
- Experience developing manufacturing test programs using NI TestStand, C#.NET or an equivalent object-oriented programming language.
- Schematic capture experience using Altium or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
- Experience selecting test equipment to meet manufacturing test requirements
- Designs functional test software applications using Windows OS. (Linux and Android OS a plus)
- Working knowledge of communication protocols such as USB, RS-232, TTL, RS-485, I2C, SPI, JTAG, and IEEE-488(GPIB).
- Working knowledge of fitness equipment resistance control and motor control theory is a plus.
- Familiarity with AC power and wiring (domestically and internationally).
- Excellent verbal, writing and organizational skills.
