Medical Lab Technologist (BCGEU)- High Volume Chemistry- Full Time- Burnaby, BC

LifeLabs is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to provide accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. The successful candidate will contribute to patient well-being and the achievement of better health outcomes in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

• College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• CSMLS registered and in good standing.
• Excellent communication skills to enable you to relate with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while adhering to LifeLabs standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail who demonstrates curiosity.
• Ability to distinguish multiple colors.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office products, as well as laboratory analyzers.
• Problem solving skills, including the ability to identify and follow-up on issues.
• Ability to maintain the strictest standards of safety, patient privacy and confidentiality.
