Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Toronto, ON – Hybrid)

LifeLabs is seeking a collaborative and strategic Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support the contract lifecycle management of a diverse portfolio of commodities. The ideal candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to lead sourcing initiatives, manage contracts, and drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within complex or project-based environments.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing RF(x) processes, contract negotiations, supplier relationships, and category or commodity portfolios.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, including cost analysis, benchmarking, ROI evaluation, and procurement data interpretation.
• Experience managing large or complex spend portfolios and delivering strategic sourcing solutions that balance value, risk, and business needs.
• Proficiency with procurement systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion or similar platforms) and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Continuous improvement mindset; Lean or Six Sigma training or project experience is considered an asset.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
