Associate Director, Commercial Data Science

Join Amgen's Mission of Serving Patients as an Associate Director, Commercial Data Science. Deliver key AI/ML projects for the Data Science team within Amgen's commercial organization and lead a team of data scientists. Flex Commuter role to Thousand Oaks, CA office, with a minimum of 2 days on-site per week.

Requirements

• Delivery of key AI/ML projects for the Data Science team
• Leading a team of data scientists
• Providing day-to-day guidance for team members in projects ranging from statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and Generative AI
• Developing, coaching, leading, and retaining a dynamic, high-performing Data Science team
• Effectively communicating with key stakeholders on the impact, status, and success of Data Science capability initiatives
• Maintaining an awareness of current research and standard methodologies in the field of data analytics, including best practices in analytics
• Primary point of contact for Commercial leaders to engage in AI/ML activities
• Engaging and communicating with key stakeholders on the impact, status, and success of Data Science capability initiatives
