Senior Business Analyst, Precision Medicine team

The IS Business Analyst will play a critical role within the R&D Precision Medicine technology ecosystem at Amgen, blending product management, product development, and delivery leadership to understand business and scientific requirements, translate them into clear product artifacts, and think through end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

• Doctorate Degree OR Master’s degree with 4–6 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, IT, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 7–12 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, IT, or related field
• Diploma with 10–12 years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, or Product Delivery roles
• Strong experience managing stakeholders and complex requirements across multiple teams
• Proven ability to write high-quality product artifacts (PRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, solution documents)
• Demonstrated ability to think through solutions end-to-end and articulate them clearly
• Hands-on experience applying design thinking and user-centered design approaches
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in regulated or validated environments (FDA, EMA, GxP preferred)
• Jira and Agile tooling experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
