Specialist SAP Architect - Plant to stock - MM

Amgen is seeking a Specialist SAP Architect - Plant to stock - MM to join their team. The role will involve architecting, designing, and implementing SAP S/4HANA Plan to Stock solutions across all Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites. The successful candidate will have expertise in SAP MM, IM, Batch Management, PP-PI, and QM modules, with a solid understanding of Logistics and Distribution processes. The position requires deep expertise in SAP technologies to streamline and enhance Plan to Stock processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Design, configuration, and optimization of Plan to Stock (Plant setup, MRP, Direct Procurement, Sub-contracting, Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory Management and Batch management, Inter and Intra company STO) process in SAP S/4HANA
• Good understanding of SAP Advanced Intercompany STO process
• Seamless integration between SAP S/4 modules MM, FI, PP, TM, ATTP, GTS, EAS, Ariba, and EWM) as well as non-SAP systems for planning, quality and manufacturing systems like Kinaxis, MES and LIMS
• Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Oversee creation and maintenance of critical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals
• Participate in ERP implementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support
• Mentor other architects and team members to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services
